Four small tools. One useful sequence.

Papmil is early. These are the only processing tools in the public workflow today.

Resize

Optimizes the PDF before later operations, currently using a medium-quality Ghostscript profile.

02 · live

OCR

Rasterizes pages and runs Tesseract to create searchable PDFs. Explicit language selection is not wired yet.

03 · live

Smart split

Uses extracted text, and optionally page images, to decide whether the next page continues the current document.

04 · live

Smart rename

Reads the first page and suggests a filename from date, sender, document type, and subject.

Not live

Cropping? Watermarks? Summaries? Page replacement?

Those are exactly the kinds of composable operations Papmil could grow into. They are ideas, not current features, and the Aspirational Roadmap keeps that boundary visible.
